This is my amazing sister's family who recently came out to central Phoenix for a family shoot. I can't believe my nieces are growing up so fast, but I suppose that's life and why we document it with photographs, right? Here are some of my favorites.

Sue & Josh are Engaged

This lovely couple took us on an adventure up to Mount Lemmon for their engagement pictures. We managed to see snow, hail, rain and marvelous sunshine as well as incredible views all in about an hour. We had an awesome time and we can’t wait until their wedding this January. Here are some of our favorites from the day.

Meet Ohana

We brought home a new puppy on Tuesday night and she has been delightful and a bit of a monster all in one. Her big sister loves her and she's managed to earn a few nicknames (ex. Houdini, need I say more?). I just had to share a few of the pics we've taken of her this week. I have a feeling she might be a reoccurring theme on here as she grows. :)

Romy & Lauryn are Married!

Weddings come in many different forms and I’ve been lucky to experience several. I’m thinking on a simple level. Whether it is religion, personality, family traditions or locations, there always seems to be something unique. Just recently, we took a weekend trip up to Las Vegas to witness and take pleasure in my brother-in-laws wedding. It was a Vegas wedding, but without Elvis and big neon signs. It was in a little Vegas chapel and they made it simple, personal and unique to them, which I think every wedding should be. They had a Photographer included in their wedding package but I managed to take a few photos during the dinner afterwards.

Arizona Maternity Photographer

Maternity pictures are fantastic! This beautiful soon to be Mom of two makes it look so easy. I’m hooked on the idea of capturing this moment for myself someday, but until then, I’ll happily capture the moment for others. I can only wish that I’ll look half this amazing and have a daughter so adorable as this little one. Here are a few of our favorites from the day.

Denver!

We spent some time in Colorado over the 4th of July weekend. We were in Denver for the majority of our time, but also made a few day trips up to the mountains. Every city/town we visited has it’s own unique personality. I loved it. I was literally scouting houses out on day two! Unfortunately, it’s back to reality and the heat of our adored Phoenix. I may be planning a trip up to Flagstaff in the next few weeks just to quench my thirst and release my inner mountain girl. Colorado reminded me a lot of Flagstaff from the kindness of the people to the cool crisp breeze at night and afternoon showers. We had a marvelous time and will hopefully be returning one winter for some snow sports and Bacon Bloody Mary’s.

Look what Andrew got for me today! It was a total surprise. This is the picture off the company website (but we're stuck in the airport so I couldn't quite post one from here). We're off to Denver. New strap attached and ready to take some fun pics. Will post about it next week!
