I recently spent a couple of days in San Diego and was lucky
enough to meet this adorable baby girl! She’s already super special, but this
little sweet pea was born on the best day of the year… my birthday! How amazing
is that? Pretty awesome in my book (can you tell I love my birthday???)!
She refused to sleep while we photographed her. None of the
tricks to make a newborn sleep would work. She wasn’t fussy (or anymore fussy
than a usual newborn) or mad, just wide-awake. So we clicked away and got some
cute AWAKE newborn photos. Seriously, we only have one image with her eyes closed and
that was when she happened to get a little upset with us, but it didn’t last
