Chihuly exhibit

We recently visited the Chihuly exhibit at the Desert Botanical Gardens. The way they had the artwork displayed was beautiful! This is also a lovely location for a wedding. It has the feeling of being hidden away in the Papago Mountains but you’re still in the middle of the city. The landscape of the gardens is gorgeous and your photographs will be stunning!

Welcome Tyler!

We had a wonderful afternoon spending time with this beautiful family. Their babies are gorgeous with the best features of Mommy & Daddy. Kayla was patient all afternoon while letting her curious little mind discover something new. Tyler is a precious baby boy and worked the camera at his first photo shoot! Here are some pictures from the afternoon.

Spring training with the A's

Living in central Arizona, there are a lot of reasons to look forward to spring and a few more reasons to dread it. Yes, the days are absolutely gorgeous, but the weather is warming up all too fast and the short “winter” we just encountered is quickly sprouting occasional 90+ degree days. However, there are some beautiful days before the temperatures rise to triple digits and one of our favorite ways to enjoy them is by going to spring training games. These are some pictures from a Mariner’s vs. A’s Spring Training game we recently attended. The weather was amazing, with warm light and vibrant blue skies. Here are a few pictures from the day.

These are some of the sweetest people I know! I've worked with Scot for a few years now and enjoyed spending the morning getting to know his family better. Here are a few of my favorites from the day. There are a couple goofy one's too but they were too cute to pass up.

T & T Engagement

This past weekend we had a fun engagement session with Tanner & Tanya. We wandered around a park, snuck onto a golf course and ended up with some great shots. Here are a few from the day:

Peyton & Boston are amazing dogs and were very excited for their photo shoot. 

I have to give Andrew the credit for this shot. He was standing off to the side and saw this composition when I was working on something different. It turned out to be one of our favorites. 

If only every groom had nails that look this nice.

Welcome! We're finally blogging and it's truly exciting for us. We're viewing this as one more outlet for our work and ourselves. We hope to continue to update this regularly and keep you all updated in our lives as photographers and people. We're constantly challenging ourselves and shooting randomly and we look forward to sharing some of that with you as well as some of our regular work. Enjoy!

I know this is a strange picture for our first post but this is from our trip returning from Las Vegas for a Wedding Photography convention last month. This was taken with my little point and shoot through the windshield but I thought it was a good example of the crazy weather we see in AZ. We didn't get a single drop of rain the whole way home but we did have beautiful views like this! We'll talk more about the convention soon as we start applying our new ideas.
